Flexible payment options for insured and self-pay patients.
At Harley Fitzrovia Health we offer flexible payment options to accommodate both insured and self-pay patients. Here’s a breakdown of the payment options available to you:
Insured Patients:
If you have an active medical insurance policy, we are pleased to accept payment directly from your insurance company. Most Consultants are recognised with insurers but please contact your provider prior to confirm. As GPs are not covered by insurance companies, some patients have a yearly allowance their insurance companies provide for the patient’s usage (this can be used towards your consultation with our GPs). However please remember any difference from HFH GP consultation prices will need to be covered by yourself – including any investigations/prescription charges our GP recommends. For GP consultations we would only be available to see patients who have obtained pre-authorisation from your insurance providers.
Insurance companies:
If you are registered with an insurance provider that we haven’t previously dealt with, there’s no need to worry. We have experience in promptly arranging recognition with new insurance companies, ensuring minimal delays to your treatment pathway. We recommend contacting your insurance provider as soon as possible to initiate the process.
It’s important to note that certain medical insurance policies may have restrictions on coverage and access to specific investigations and treatments while limiting access to others. Additionally, some policies may include an excess amount that needs to be partially settled when paying your invoice at Harley Fitzrovia Health Private Medical Centre. If you require assistance with navigating these aspects, we are here to help.
Even if you don’t have medical insurance, you can still receive healthcare at Harley Fitzrovia Health by self-funding your treatment. As a self-pay patient, you will be responsible for covering the fees associated with your Private GP consultation as a new or follow-up patient, as well as any additional recommended procedures or investigations.
In some cases, you may receive separate bills for what seems like the same procedure. This is because if a procedure is performed during your consultation, one part of the charge will be for the consultant’s professional fees, while the other part will be an additional fee for the use of equipment. The total fee will usually be communicated to you in advance, even if it is split into separate invoices.
If you have any further questions or need clarification regarding our fees or charging structures, please feel free to contact us using the form below. Our team will be happy to assist you.
