Professor Paul Chatrath - ENT (Director)
Paul Chatrath is a private Consultant ENT Surgeon based in London and Essex. He completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of Cambridge followed by clinical training at the London Hospital Medical College culminating in the award of MBBS with 3 distinctions and Proxime Accessit to the University of London Gold Medal. After completing higher surgical training he obtained a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in ENT surgery including accreditation in facial plastic surgery.
He has held substantive consultant posts at Queen’s University Hospital, Essex and Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust. His specialist interests include nasal and sinus conditions, cosmetic and functional rhinoplasty and paediatric ENT problems. He has also specialized in nasal valve surgery and in minimally invasive pinnaplasty including the EarfoldTM implant. Paul balances his clinical work with his academic commitments at Canterbury Christ Church University where he is Professor of Rhinology and module lead for the MCh(ENT) Postgraduate Diploma. He has also undertaken international Charitable medical work in Burma in conjunction with other colleagues.
